Final Toles Cartoon. I started out 50 years ago at my college newspaper as a long-haired liberal. And end a half century later as... a long-haired liberal. 15,000 cartoons drawn, and now I can fulfill the vow I made when I was 5: finish school, then finish work, then get back to playing, at last. I get one I-told-you-so. Climate change is real, and a catastrophe. And one request: Vote out the maniac. (and don't forget the Senate) And one prediction: artificial intelligence will be far more disruptive than you think. And now, farewell to my wonderful readers. It has been an honor and a privilege. And remember! Old cartoonists never die, they merely disappear into the eraser crumbs.
