Men and Women: Nobody will ever cross that ocean. It's way too big. A lot of uncertainties invovlved. You'll never see the end of slavery. It's too established by now. Just think about all th political problems. Can't stop Hitler from conquering England. Germany has too many bombs and stuff. You'd be talking blood sweat and tears. It's not possible to stop a doubling of Greenhouse gases now. We're talking about our standard of living. We shouldn't be expected to try until everybody else does first. What we need is a leader who'll tell us we don't have too. 1492 without Columbus. 1863 without LIncoln. 1940 with out Churchill. 1997.
