Narrator: No one ever planned ahead for old age more than my Mom. Woman: Vacation? I need to save for a rainy day! Man: Mom, you're 78. It's raining. Narrator: She saved 1/2 her salary into an annuity, so she'd have a secure retirement. She was so careful about the future that she sometimes missed out on the present. Woman: My will is in this drawer. Man: I know, Mom. Wanna see a movie? Woman: No! Waste of money! Narrator: But all her best-laid plans couldn't anticipate Alzheimer's. Man: Your mom went senile. Could that happen to you? Woman: Oh, no never!
