Republicans are minority party. If all registered voters voted in equal numbers, the G.O.P. would usually lose. In order to remain viable, Republicans suppress the Democratic vote. They're especially enamored of sophisticaed computerized gerrymandering of congressional districs. (Man 3: This way, 3 GOP voters beat 30,000 dems!) (Woman 2: In 3 states? I that legal?) (Man 3: Not yet!) There's no limit to their ingenuity! (Woman 2: We ould espouse policies that voters support...) (Man 2: Don't be thick! We don't work for voters...)
