(Man: She has dementia her arm is still broken!) Next come the euphemisms and Jargon: "Assisted living" "Palliative care." "Memory Care" (Woman: Insurance Company says rehab won't work cuz of her dementia... she'll forget it all...) (Man: She's much sharper in French. I told you that. Did you get a translator?) (Woman: I'll check*) (*translates to "no") "Private Pay" (Man: $250/Day?! She could stay in a luxury hotel for that! What do poor hell, non-rich people do?) (Woman: She can go on Medicaid first she has to burn through all her savings and assets. Then Medicaid will pay-if you find a home willing to take her.) (Man: This is the system that's better than the one young people have...)
