The writer Ta-Nehisi Coates wants the U.S. government to pay black Americans billions of dollars in reparations for their sufferings under slavery and subsequent systematic racism. For every $1 of wealth white families have, black families have 5 cents. He's not getting any takers. All the politicians are against it. Even Bernie Sanders is against it. Time for some major white splainin'! Blacks deserve trillions obviously. But native americans deserve reparations too. The U.S. stole the whole continent from them! Spain and then Mexico, and native Hawaiians deserve compensation. As do such victims of abuse, slave labor and racism as chinese americans- railroad workers- and japanese-Americans sent to concentration camps. Gotta add latinos, exposed and abused at every turn, Plus filipinos- waterboarded and exploited- and Muslims- slaughtered by drones- and torture victims... if we paid off the zillions of people used and abused and robbed by the U.S. there wouldn't be any U.S. left! Can't you see, Mr. Coates? The only way to be fair to black is to be equally unfair to everyone! (Everyone except rich white guys.)
