Obama: I could just die. The chairman of the U.S. torture camp network has resigned under pressure from Obama. Otherwise, federal funding would have been cut off. Critics say America's outdated tortures concentrated too much on big, flashy concentration camps while nimbler foreigners focused on cheap torture-like beatdowns. The U.S. torture industry ignored countless warnings that it needed to modernize. Now it's downright embarrassing.
