What you want is too much to hope for. The guy I want for president didn't run. Adjust to changing circumstances. Accept the choices they give you. In the primaries, there was one dude I kind of liked. But he lost. Options keep narrowing. Keep compromising. At the party convention it came down to two lame-os. The lamest of the two got the nomination. Don't opt out. You gotta be in it to win it. Finally, my party's lamest lost to the other party's even lamer lamest. We are prepared to project a winner... Democracy: the process that selects the biggest two-to-the-nth-degree evils.
