George W. Bush: Lack of evidence is the ultimate evidence that he's dangerously sneaky! Lawyer: The charges may be bogus - but the defendant's evil heart is real! Lawyer: Is it true that you saw people doing exactly what we've accused the accused of doing?! Witness: Verily. Man: Non-existence! The ultimate weapon of the perfect terrorist! Bush: Yes! But much of our response is non-extant too! Due to lack of evidence, accused "dirty bomber" Jose Padilla was never charged with the crime for which he spent 5 years in prison. He has instead been charged with conspiracy and membership in Al Qaeda. Because there is also no evidence that he joined Al Qaeda, the witnesses are people who witnessed other people joining Al Qaeda. Next: no evidence of a "Jose Padilla."
