Hillary Clinton: Saddam Hussein is the target of a war whose popularity presents a clear and present danger to our polls! Man: If we fight the Republicans here and n ow, we'll have to explain our failure to fight them there and then! George W. Bush: We must honor the sacrificed, the pre-sacrificed, as well as- Man: Can it, George. There's an election soon. Clinton: The only thing to fear is the fear of fear itself! Democrats, afraid of being called weak and wimpy, vote for a Republican war. Afraid of being called flip-floppers, they fund the war even when it becomes unpopular. Afraid of looking like dupes, Democrats support the war after Republicans abandon it. At last: courage!
