A curious meme of the post 9/11 war on terrorism asserts that among the many reasons we ought to hold terrorists in contempt. They don't care about their own lives. (Bush: That's how gross they are.) Why can't we and the terrorists find common ground here? They don't care about their lives. Neither do we. We're on the same page! (Man: Hurry, honey, they're showing the charred bodies of women and children in areas where the terrorists used to live!!) The troule is, terrorsists self disregard feels like cheating. They don't mind when we kill them. In fact, they like it. They get to be martyers! (Man 2: Suckered again!) Well, no more Mr. Mean guy. If it's martydom terrorists like Osama Bin Laden want. Let them suffer a long, comfortable life instead! (Osama Bin Laden: Bush, you magnificent bastard- you're not killing me here!)
