In a new effort to stimulate the economy, the Bush administration is asking Americans to let it loot public lands and buildings. Free trapped stuff. Incredible wealth is locked up - wasted - in government property. Release that trapped stuff and let it work for America! Why there's untapped money right here in the white house! After Dick Cheney went at the map room wall with a sledgehammer, he found this valuable old copper piping. Surely someone will want this stuff on eBay! A lot of these old tree will bring in big bucks as lumber. We're strip-mining the south lawn. And you wouldn't believe what we're getting for 19th century fixtures! As usual, everyone agrees that theftinomics is a good idea. The only area of dispute is how to carry it out. The library of congress belonged to all of us! The cash from selling it to Barnes and Noble should be shared equally! Don't be selfish... I thought of this scheme, and I'm keeping the dough! National monument for sale.
