Man 1: Investor confidence has been shaken by news that corporate profit statements are full of lies. The economy won't recover until the stock market can trust statistical indicators. That's why the government has developed an index that indicates, second by second, the likelihood of other indices being accurate: The B.S. factor. A B.S. factor of 10 indicates that the average underlying statistical indicator is full of unmitigated crap, and a zero means that they can trust everything they hear a read. Woman: That seems clear. Man 2: What's the B.S. factor now? Man 1: Five. The firm that computes it is full of scoundrels and brigands.
