In a grim attempt to unify the nation, the administration began cracking down on right-wing speech. People need to watch what they say... It's inappropriate to promote un-American ideas like school prayer at a sensitive time like this! Despite criticism from civil libertarians, thousands of suspects with links to right-wing cells were rounded up and detained. Lots of people voted for Reagan! Reagan funded Al-Qaeda Mr. enemy of the state! A few fringe journalists protested the chilling of dissent, but to no avail. How can we win the war against religious extremists abroad if we're intolerant of our own religious extremists here? This is war! We won't let flag-waving neanderthals trash our tolerant, open-minded society. Finally, the hysteria hit its zenith: a show trial. In order to increase the odds of conviction, the government will try accused racist Billy Bob Baxter in famously liberal San Francisco. Burn, witch, burn!
