The resistance continues... with President-in-exile Al Gore (Man: Vive: L'amerique libre!) This time: Power struggle! Long months have passed since an outlaw regime of right-wing thugs and their judicial toadies carried out their illegal coup d'etat. Fortunately one man keeps the torch of Democracy burning brightly: President-in-exile Al Gore, head of the resistance! (Man: Please have pages 204 through 333 of "election in the balance" read by Thursday.) All patriotic Americans impatiently await the day of liberation so that Al Gore may assume this rightful office. (Woman: 60 ahead... fire me! But there'll be a reckoning someday, and Gore will see you punished!!) All but one man... Vice President-in- exile Joe Liberman! (Man 2: You had your chance, Mr. let's forgive-this-time... I am the right man to lead the resistance!) Meanwhile, a despotic usurper weighs how to most efficiently exploit the schism. (Man 2: I'll vote for both guys- and have the Supreme Court invalidate both votes!) Soon: showdown!
