Forget school... Now you too can train to become a corporate apologist! Step 1: espouse silly science. The 400,000 smokers who die each year would have died anyway... eventually! Step 2: emphasize anomalies. Yesterday was the coldest day on record for that date. What global warming? Step 3: blame extraneous influences. God created heaven and earth, thus he's responsible for the laws of physics. What does that do to our tires? You figure it out. Step 4: stall. We're forming a committee to select a blue-ribbon panel that will discuss the choices for members of a focus group who will think about a study.
