Due to some as-yet-undetermined fourth dimensional fluke, Chet went back then knowing everything he knows now. (Man 1: I feel strange.) (Man 2: Whoa... dude!) Enjoying an amazing combination of youthful vigor and hard-earned knowledge, he immediately began exploiting his situation. (Man 3: You have high math aptitude, so you should go to engineering school.) (Man 2: Don't be a daft, hombre. I'm dropping out of school to launch a dot-com!) Unfortunately, the people in the new timeline were just as clued in as he was. (Man 2: Foget those dumb jocks! Computer geeks like me will be rich as hell!) (Woman: Yeah, but you'll be soooo boring.) He was worse off than before, when his status matched his wits. (Man 4: You'll never make assistant night manager.) In the end, Chet had nothing to do but wait. (Woman: How's the dumbing down going?) (Kid: Tv's not dumb enough- I'm going to an art gallery.)
