A hyperlink too far. In the future, wars will be fought over information, not land. Soldiers will use logic bombs instead of bullets. The future is here. Our men in uniform are busy fighting off heavy cyber attacks even as you read this. This is their story. The Pentagon 2240 hours. (Man 1: Gotta love the new encryption codes- I need the shut-eye.) (Man 2: Cripes! We've got incomings! This one's gonna be bad!) (Man 3: Don't lose your nerves, corporal remember your training! Use a java password lockout on the bastards... your wife and kids are counting on you!) (Man 2: They didn't teach us this stuff at MIT, sir! They're inside the data perimeter!) (Man 1: Aieee! I'm not bd! I'm losing 2 megs a sec!) (Man 2: Hold on, Johnson! I can get you out! The hackers are reformatting the c-drive! There's no choice- I'm gonna crash my system with a virus and take them with me!) (Man 3: Don't do it!) The next morning: victory- but at what cost?) (Man 2: War is virtually hell...)
