Judy never paid any attention to the warnings. (Television: The world is moving into the 21st century with our without us... each and every one of us must prepare-or we'll be left behind!) (Man: Moron) She didn't learn any foreign languages. She didn't bother with HTML. Judy didn't even enjoy globalization. (Man: You still own a mac? Haha! That's so cute!) (Woman: Don't call me again.) Wallowing in the past and oblivious to the calendar, Judy lived the way she always had. (Man: What's the matter with you? Haven't you heard of workfare?) She watched sadly as her friends rushed around preparing, for they would never see her again. (Man: I'm building a "work portfolio" in the 21st century, no one will work for just one place.) (Woman: I've given up on sex- I don't want to be left behind!) Finally the fateful day arrived, and it all unfolded exactly as they had foretold. Far from being left behind, however she got to live her old century all over again.
