Is that so? Well, you'll never guess who I bumped into the other day outside the supermarket- Mary Pickering. Yes- fancy that! I haven't seen her for years and I didn't realize she was married to that hunky Charles Chap- you know, the one who runs the trendy health club on the other side of town. Well, I'll tell you something, Angela, I don't think Mary goes there very often- she's put on so much weight! Mean, she tries to hide it by wearing black leggings and baggy blouses but it doesn't work. She used to be so tiny! Anyway, Mary told me in confidence, so don't tell a soul, will you, that Margaret Cummings was hoping to be a member of the local counsel. Well, you could have knocked me down with a feather. She's the last person I thought would ever be involved in all that. She always such a caraway at school. Do you remember the time she and Debbie Brown ran down the corridor or letting off hangers? And what about when they made those stink bombs in chemistry? I'm surprised she never got expelled! And guess who she married? Steve Todd summation point remember him? He was such a bully. Believe it or not, he's now a top solicitor with Herringbone and Westchester. It's amazing, isn't it, Angela? You just never know how people will turn out in life. I wonder what happened to... Talk about talk!
