Enjoy this Classic Tom the Dancing Bug Vintage 1996 Every Thursday Panels from the annals of the Tom the Dancing Bug archive Check back every Friday for a fresh, brand new Tom the Dancing Bug! Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling Presents: News of the Times ALIENS REVEAL THEMSELVES AND EXPLAIN PURPOSE At an apologetic press conference, two spokes-aliens expressed regret about their heretofore clandestine activities on earth. Alien #1: We are not here to invade, subjugate or even study humans. Our plans are simply to... Alien #2: ...introduce you to an exciting new delicious snack food -- MEATLOAF-ON-A-STICK! MEATLOAF ON A STICK "We regret the occasional abduction of humans, but it was necessary for our focus groups." ZZZZZZ "We would simply feed our guests nutritious meatloaf-based snacks..." Alien: What do you think? Too much parsley? "...and send them on their way, with memories erased and, amazingly, NO TIME ELAPSED!" "Yes, that's the key to our fast-food concept -- we'll use our super-technology to ease the stress of today's earthling's busy lifestyle!" MEATLOAF ON A STICK Alien #1: Memory erasure can be tricky, though, and some test-customers have been left with certain delusional imprints. Alien #2: That's why we make this pledge! IT IS NOT MEATLOAF ON A STICK'S POLICY TO TORMENT, CROSS-SPECIES BREED WITH, OR PROBE ANY ORIFICE OF OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS. The entrepreneurial aliens also denied any involvement with unexplained cow mutilations. Alien #1: We use only legally purchased grade "A" chuck! Alien #2: That's probably those guys from Planet Zorek. They're here test-marketing "Bovine-Entrails-In-A-Cup" franchises.
