Man: Looks like our tax bill is less than last year. Woman: That's a relief! Counter-Earth experts spout transparent nonsense to justify this bizarre notion. Woman: Cutting taxes for the middle class DIRECTLY benefits the middle class. It's very simple. Man: It also best stimulates the economy because middle class and poor people are most likely to SPEND their tax cuts! And lower income taxes make it cheaper for companies to hire! This cockamamie policy is called TRICKLE-UP economics, and experts actually use something called EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE to justify it. Those who say tax cuts for CORPORATIONS and the RICH are the best way to help the middle class are considered insane! Old Man #1: Give money to ME, and you'll get untold riches! LATER!
