Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling The Story of American Ingenuity American History Boy: Gosh, it seems like American industry doesn't innovate anymore! Boy: We were the leaders in the auto industry, then aerospace, then computers... Girl: But is there a new area of business innovation for America? Man: You bet there is! American companies are leading the way for the world, in a key new industry! Girl: We are? Man: For-profit human incarceration! U.S. private prison companies are growing by leaps and bounds under President Trump! Man: And these companies make billions on government contracts and by selling the forced labor of prisoners! Boy: Golly! Boy: You're right, mister! Human incarceration is the next great all-American industrial frontier! Girl: I only wish there was a way we could see inside one of these modern marvels! Man: I'm glad you say that! Because I'm taking you two in! Boy: ¡Ay caramba! The End Next Week: Ricky and Louisa get "Detention"!
