Doc: If you must know Im researching head injuries. Charley: Sounds painful! why did you go through so much trouble to get me?! Doc: Look, I originally paid top dollar to buy this chimp from a primate language study, where he was being taught sign language. Chimps make good subjects because they're so closely related to humans, sharing 98.5% of our genes! monkey: banana doc; but when I found you -- a species from which humans directly descended and over 995 related -- I knew what science demanded of me! monkey: bashing my head in! Doc: knowledge is not without costs! charley: why don't you use human for the experiments then? Doc: Ignorant ape! humans have intelligence and therefore have rights! charley: I have some intelligence! why don't you use the chimp?! He's close enough to humans but doesn't deserve rights because he's much stupider! monkey: you toilet face Charley; See? thats his idea of a witty response! Next escape from the planet of the naked apes!
