Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling NATE The Neoconservative in "Being A Pundit Means Never Having To Say You're Sorry" Nate is at the TV studio, having finished pontificating on Iraq, when... Woman: Nate, our weatherman is sick -- can you fill in? Nate: No problem. Nate: This high pressure area will cause rain tomorrow. Torrential downpour, folks. Man: Nonsense! TV Next Day -- Weather Today Reporter: Nate, as the person who predicted RAIN, you're the best person to have on to explain why it was SUNNY today. Nate: Obviously, this low pressure zone redirected the storm front. Now, this sunshine should last all week. Reporter: That was great TV, Nate! Man: That's not even a low pressure zone! And it's going to POUR tomorrow! Next Day... Weather Today Reporter: Here's our new weather analyst, Nate. So, how about all the people caught without umbrellas in today's huge STORM? Nate: Well, I wouldn't call that a "storm." Now, tomorrow: HAIL! The size of golfballs! Man: Finally! He'll be discredited! TV Next Day -- Weather Today Reporter: No hail today, but Nate is now our senior weather expert! Nate: Tomorrow: a butterscotch syrup drizzle! Next Some wacko meteorologist challenges Nate -- Man: You don't know anything about weather, and you're always wrong! Nate: "SIGH"!
