Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling Boy: Let's see -- "Four artifacts thought to have been looted from the Iraq National Museum are FOUND!" Ha! I'm winning! Girl: AAUGH Girl: My turn -- "The found artifacts are actually historically insignificant and practically worthless!" I'M winning! Boy: AUGGH POST-WAR PUNDIT PICK A SIDE, AND ROLL THE DICE! Yes, the lightning-fast world of partisan pontification is now an exciting board game for children 8 to 80! News items from Iraq are reduced to fodder for rapid-fire ping-pong bleats of "I told you so!" and "How could you BE so WRONG?!" Boy: Okay, I go forward two squares-- Another American casualty! You have to go to the apparently-I-don't-care-about-American-lives corner! Girl: But first I pick a breaking-news card -- ah, a MASS GRAVE was found! I'm back on the board, and YOU'RE sent to the I-want-to-French-kiss-Saddam box! Should the U.S. have invaded Iraq or not? It's the question that a springboard for endless hours of fun. ANd we do mean endless -- this game has no ending! Mother: KIDS! Breakfast! Girl: Later, Mom! I'm about to be proven correct in my assertion that the war was neither morally nor militarily justified -- AGAIN! Boy: HA!
