Published as a public service by the Manhattan Nursery School Association Interviewer: Thank you for coming in for the interview, Josh. Josh: My pleasure! This nursery school has the best toy truck program in the city! Interviewer: Your academic credentials are fine. My, seven languages! Josh: Sim, eu considero - me um cidadao do mundo. Interviewer: And I see you've filled your 2 1/2 years with enriching experiences. Josh: Yes, the six months I spent helping a Uganda village dig a well were particularly rewarding. Interviewer: Okay, just do some paperwork: which parent will be making the $1 million donation? Josh: We...don't have $1 million... Interviewer: Ah, of course...so, what STOCK will your parent UPGRADE in order to induce a CORPORATION to make a donation? Josh: Um...my mom's a doctor, and my dad's a physicist. Interviewer: Oh. Josh, are you SURE nursery school is right for YOU? Josh: I'd always thought so. Interviewer: Well, maybe you should reconsider. As they say, "the world needs ditch-diggers too." Josh: What a shame. All those potty-training all-nighters for nothing! The End
