The first bucket is filled to capacity, and the goal is to evenly divide the water between two buckets (4 liters each) Since the only way to do the job accurately is to completely fill an empty buckets, what is the least number of pours that would equally divide the water? A: The least number of pours to divide 8 liters of water among two buckets, when you have a 8, a 5 and a 3 liter bucket, is 7 pours. I give up
