Rip Haywire and the Curse of Tangaroa! Graphic Novel Rip Haywire: I'm talking about old spanish gold! The type that keeps treasure hunters up at night dreaming like Disneyworld-bound children! There's a fortune down there. It's yours if you give me the tiki and let us be on our way. No strings-just an agreement between two soldiers of fortune. Man: I'll take the gold, and the tiki, but I won't kill you- that is worse than death, oui? Being humiliated like Jerry Lewis at an American Film convention? Rip Haywire: For the last time, Coover, Jerry Lewis is not funny! Man: Prepare the men to drive for the gold! Put Haywire in with his crew in the galley. Cobra Carson: I can't believe you gave up the gold- you should've let him kill us! Anything but make coover an unvearably smug rich man. Rip Haywire: This ain't over yet. Cobra Carson: The gold- Rip Haywire: He'll never get it! He doesn't know what the tiki can do! Diving for that gold is hopeless.
