Lucy and Linus are on their knees in the snow. Lucy demands, "What do you think you're doing?" Linus, who is building a snowball, answers, "You'll find out.."<BR><BR> Linus holds up his blanket. He says, "This is going to be fantastic."<BR><BR> Lucy watches as Linus explains, "See? I place the snowball in this blanket.."<BR><BR> ...and continues, whipping the blanket over his head, "And when I whirl it around it becomes a weapon terrible to behold!"<BR><BR> Linus announces, "It can send a snowball through the air faster than the speed of sound!!"<BR><BR> Lucy, sitting, cries, "Sure, and what if Dad loses his job tomorrow, and we have to move and we don't have anything to eat?"<BR><BR> She continues, "And what if we all end up in the hospital with pneumonia, and nobody comes to see us and nobody cares?"<BR><BR> Linus stands in profile.<BR><BR> He holds his blanket close and the snowball rolls away.<BR><BR> Lucy throws a snowball. [Panel 11] Pow! Linus is knocked over backwards. [Panel 12] Linus lies on the ground with the blanket over his head. Lucy stands over him, claiming, "Military strategy!"<BR><BR>
