Peppermint Patty stands in front of the teacher's desk holding a sheet of paper. She says,"Yes, Ma'am." She walks off looking at her paper.<BR><BR> She sits at her desk and turns to Marcie, who is sitting behind her. She shows Marcie the sheet and asks,"The teacher says my handwriting is kind of bad, Marcie...what do you think?"<BR><BR> Marcie replies,"Well, you seem to confuse your M's and N's, sir...your M's are too enny and your N's are too emmy!"<BR><BR> She continues,"And look at these I's...they're so tall they look like L's..try to make your I's less elly..."<BR><BR> She concludes,"Also, your O's are too oey, and your R's are way too arrey..."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty looks at the sheet and says,"Enny, Emmy, and Elly, huh? Too Oey and Arrey, huh? I see what you mean, Marcie...."<BR><BR> Marcie replies,"Don't worry about it, sir...the only things people write anymore are love letters and thank-you notes." Peppermint Patty says,'I may be on the phone a lot."<BR><BR>
