"Charlie Brown..." Lucy says. She kneels on the grass, holding a footbal. Charlie Brown closes his eyes: "I can't believe it."<BR><BR> "Charlie Brown, I'll hold the football and you come running up and kick it.." He looks at her.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown wails, "HOW LONG, O LORD?"<BR><BR> Lucy turns and looks up at him: "You're quoting from the sixth chapter of Isaiah, aren't you, Charlie Brown?" He rolls his eyes.<BR><BR> Lucy raises her arm and quotes: "Until cities lie waste without inhabitant, and houses without men, and the land is utterly desolate.." Charlie Brown walks away.<BR><BR> "Actually, there is a note of protest in the question as asked by Isaiah, for we might say mhe was unwilling to accept the finality of the Lord's judgment.." Charlie Brown starts running towards the football.<BR><BR> AUGHH! Lucy whisks the ball away and Charlie Brown goes soaring into the air.<BR><BR> WUMP! He lands flat on his back.<BR><BR> Lucy stands at Charlie Brown's head looking down at him. She prophesizes: "How long? All you life, Charlie Brown..all your life.."<BR><BR>
