"Linus and Lucy are in the living room and Linus is leaning on an ottoman reciting, “And it came to… It came to.. to…. To….” Lucy is standing behind Linus holding Linus’s script for the Christmas play, she tells Linus: “To pass” <br> <br> Linus stands and continues to say: “Oh, yes…”And it came to pass…” as Lucy stands behind him listening. <br> <br> Linus goes on reciting ”And it came to pass in those days that… that…” Lucy reads from the script ”..That there went out a decree..” <br> <br> Linus holds out his arms and yells “I CAN’T MEMORIZE ANYTHING!” <br> <br> Lucy is standing reading the script, as Linus walks away with his arms up in the air saying, “You know what I don’t like about Christmas programs? They drive me crazy! They’re too hard on the nervous system!” <br> <br> “Oh cut it out!“ says Lucy as puts down the script. Linus sitting on a cushion looks up at Lucy and replies: “Well, they ARE!” <br> <br> Linus goes on pointing out: “What about that little kid last year who wouldn’t say his piece? He wouldn’t even get off his mother’s lap! He was scared! He was really scared!” <br> <br> Linus now walks up to Lucy holding his finger out to make a point, and goes on saying: “And what about that little blonde girl who started to cry when everyone else was singing? Don’t tell ME that isn’t wrong!” <br> <br> Linus crosses his arms and says: “I’M REVOLTING AGAINST CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS!!” <br> <br> Lucy holds up the script and says to Linus: “Look…Do you see this? What is It?” Linus looks and replies: ‘It’s my part in the Christmas program…I’m supposed to memorize it..” <br> <br> Lucy now holds up her fist and says, “All right…now do you see THIS?
