Patty and Violet wear little hats and aprons and stand outside. Patty turns to Violet and announces, "Here comes our first customer." "Oh, dear...I'm so nervous..." Violet replies.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands in front of a wooden counter and declares, "I'm hungry." "Then you've come to the right place...More or less..." Patty amends.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits on a low stool at the counter. "How much is a hot mud sandwich?" "Don't worry...They're dirt cheap!" Patty promises.<BR><BR> "O.K., I'll take one...And a bowl of soup." Patty turns around and calls, "Ordering a hot mud sandwich!! Pick up on a bowl of soup!" Violet sprays water from a garden hose into a bowl on top of a wooden block. "Soup coming right up!" Violet says.<BR><BR> Violet holds a shovel and explains, "For a hot mud sandwich, I dig the ingredients from the sunny side of the yard..."<BR><BR> Patty places the bowl on top of the counter in front of Charlie Brown and explains, "If this soup tastes like water, it's becasue that's what it is!"<BR><BR> Violet hisses: "Psst...Patty! Come here..." "What's the matter?"<BR><BR> "I can't make that mud sandwich...My shovel broke!" Violet holds up the pieces of the spade.<BR><BR> "Can't you use your hands?" Patty suggests. Violet is horrified: "Oh, mercy, NO! That would be unsanitary!"<BR><BR>
