(caricatures not my strength.) she has a certain set of opinions on government, taxes, immigration, and the environment. yap yap yap yap yap i do not share any of those opinions. that becomes apparent the one or two times a year we see each other. woman: you loon. man: argue argue argue argue but then-and here's the weird part-after about an hour of disagreeing, something happens. we realize we agree on a few things. woman: i think that makes sense. man: you do? which makes us realize one more thing. that each of the outlets we normally rely upon for news makes money by creating conflict. so sometimes turn them off. and talk to your sister. woman: okay. irrespective of politics, I think you're a loan. man: that's fair.
