Goat: Who's your friend, Pig? Pig: My cousin, Cory. We call him 'Cor'. I'm teaching him all about our family's native american ancestors. Cor: Yeah. They lived many ears ago. Goat: You mean 'years'. Pig: No, our tribe referred to each generation as a set of ears. So two generations is two ears ago. Cor: And tell him what they once did. Pig: Well, our ancient fathers bought a tract of land for the protection of gnus. Cor: It was like a whole nation just for gnus. And they were the first to do it. Pig: No. They were actually the fourth tribe on the continent to do that. But then they and the gnus lost all their land. Cor: Voluntarily or by force? And tell Rat what happened. Pig: Force, Cor, and seven ears ago, our father's bought fourth on this continent a gnu nation. Rat: You have loosed the fateful lightning of his terrible swift sword.
