Ordinary Basil Von Rottweil's scheme to steal a power crystal and destroy Helios came to a crashing end. He was no match for Beatrice, Louise's loyal pet pteranodon. "You must go now," Morluk said,"and save your people." "What about you and your people?" Basil asked. "We'll be fine," Morluk reassured them. "Our lives are simple but good." As he and Louise climbed on the back of the great flying reptile, Basil smiled knowingly. "And what about Dr. Von Rottweil?" Louise asked as Beatrice spread her giant wings, ready to take flight. "Let's just say we're going to give him a hand finding his way back home," Morluk replied. Beatrice's unerring homing sense took Basil and Louise back to Helios, where they were greeted as heroes. In gratitude for saving the magnificent city in the clouds, Basil was granted a wish. Anything he wanted would be his...just as the Odian prophecy said. It didn't take him long to decide. Basil: Mom! I'm home, I'm home!
