The Return of Ordinary Basil. Most people might think being a twelve-year-old boy living in a lighthouse at the dawn of the 20th century in Maine would be quite extraordinary. But not Basil Pepperell. He thought his life was ordinary and longed for adventure. But he didn't know how or where to find it. Then one day, adventure found him. An odd, jovial man flew by his window in an incredible airship and took Basil to an amazing city in the clouds called Helios. There he met Louise. She had lived her whole life in this fantastic city floating on clouds and thought her life was ordinary. She longed to see what life was like in Basil's world. Together they found a lot more adventure than they bargained for as they fell into the clutches of the notorious Doctor Von Rottweil. The malevolent doctor had been stripped of his high rank and banished before he could launch his scheme to use the advanced technology of Helios to rule the world.
