Ordinary Basil After freeing the ensnared airship from the clutches of Von Rottweil, Basil and Louise watch in stunned confusion as the professor makes a bold move. "He...he's steering the ship right toward them!" Basil gasps. Louise, knowing Prof. McGookin is always full of surprises, tries to calm Basil's fears...and her own. "He knows what he's doing...I hope." Equally surprised by the maneuver is Von Rottweil, who hesitates before barking to his henchmen, "FIRE! Bring down zat..." Stopping in midsentence, the pernicious doctor spots a trapdoor spring open on the looming airship and realizes that his moment of hesitation was all the professor needed. "Oh, no<" Von Rottweil mutters, "not za thermablat!" Contrasting the doctor's horrified gaze is a wry smile growing across Louise's face. "Hold on," she orders. "The shock wave is going to..."
