Ordinary Basil The mighty pteranodon has foiled Von Rottweil's trap, but only for the moment. "Reload!" the malevolent doctor barks. Having lost the element of surprise, he hurries to keep the advantage on the wounded airship. Like a chess master who has been momentarily stunned by a bold, unforeseen move, Prof. McGookin quickly assesses the situation. "You had your shot, Von Rottweil," he says with calm assurance, not allowing anger to cloud his judgment, "but you're not going to get another one." The airship creaks under the strain of a hard, steep turn as the professor begins a bold move in return. "Herr Doctor," the henchman stammers as stark surprise begins to turn to fear, "he's heading directly toward us!" Von Rottweil glares at the rapidly approaching airship and mutters, "Vot are you up to, McGookin?"
