Mark: I'll have a small soda, please.... Man: We only have medium and large, sir. Mark: I hate the point this out, kid, but if you only have two sizes available... they're called 'small' and 'large.' 'Medium' is a size in between the others! Man: Oh, yeah, I guess you're right... So, like, do you want a medium or a large? Mark: Sigh, the more ignorant the population, the easier it is to control. It looks stupid enough to work. Obviousman: So, you maven of misinformation, 'medium' is a size between two others! Man: Oh, wow... Thanks! That's, like, so obvious, man.... The Legend of Obviousman, Part 4: Despite an abundance of information at our fingertips today, America has gone collectively stupid. Mark Cohen, a California Realtor and amateur magician, realizes it must be a conspiracy.....but why? And who's behind it? ...Then it hits him. Realizing the media zombies have the attention span of a flashbulb, Mark figures he needs to distract them long enough for reality to have a chance to sink in. Being a magician and a realtor, Mark is well-versed in the art of illusion and how to redirect the focus of an audience.... and a superhero for the information age is born.... Next week: Obfuscating the truth.
