Marcus: Have you ever noticed how everything black people do, creatively, is about being black? Movies, books, music... comics. There's never been a black "Lord of the Rings" or a black "Star Wars". Why is it that way? Is the work not being produced or is it just not being marketed? Anton: Perhaps it's because the black experience in the U.S. is so unique and rich that it would be impossible to realistically portray black people without addressing certain themes. Or maybe it's because no one wants to see Will Smith as Gandalf. Marcus: Flava Flav could've been a convincing Gollum.
