Nancy pushes a thermostat button as Frank objects. Nancy says, "Whew, it's 78 in here! I'm turning this thermostat down." Frank says, "65! Hon, when it's 65 in March, you turn the heat up to 80." Nancy says, "65 in August is the equivalent of 80 in March. Besides, I need to get cool fast." Frank chuckles, "Setting the temperature low doesn't make the AC go any faster. It's not like the accelerator on the car, where the carburetor -". Irritated, Nancy says, "Honey, spare me the tech talk, ok? Punching the little 'cooler' button just works for me." Nancy walks away from Frank. Frank fold his arms and thinks, "Women don't understand thermodynamics." Nancy thinks, "Men don't understand hot flashes."
