Dad: I remember when I was a kid, the favorite pastime was playing cowboys. The vacant lot was our "old west" where the neighborhood gang would gather, all decked out in cowboy duds. Dad: But I was the acknowledged king of the cowboys, for I had the ultimate cowboy gear: Authentic roy rogers hat, scarf and shirt, real vinyl chaps, a pair or white gloves with fringe, metal spurs tied to my keds and-the envy of all my fellow cowboys- a set of genuine "fanner 50" pistols!...wonder what ever happened to those? Anyway, I'd spend hours running and dodging, shooting and getting shot, arguing over who killed who and everyone always claiming that they were only winged. Finally, at dark, I'd go home, all sweaty and dirty, and fill my pockets with fresh rolls of caps for the next shootout. Luann: Extremely weird childhood, dad.
