Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson Phoebe: Marigold? How do you think the world will end? Marigold: Well... Marigold: There are several unicorn myths about it. Some believe there will be SO MANY unicorns that eventually sparkles will consume everything. Voice #1: OH WOE! Voice #2: ALAS! Others that one day, there will be a LAST unicorn, and she will have no one to tell her how beautiful she is. So she will blow up the world out of spite. Unicorn: Take THIS, people who are not here. Another myth holds that one day, we will all accidentally all neigh at the same time, and it will end the world in a NEIGHING SINGULARITY! NEIGH! Phoebe: So unicorns are definitely going to end the world? Marigold: Of course. Marigold: We are too important NOT to be at the center of everything, and that includes the END of everything. Phoebe: I've just never thought of unicorn as bringers of death and destruction. Marigold: You take that BACK.
