Bucky: Get a load of this headline, fido. Satchel: The army is eating cats now? Bucky: What? No! Can you not read? Satchel: "Vet Says Number of Cats in Us on Rise." Bucky: Cats in U.S.! United States! Not cats in us! 74 million cats to 70 million dogs! Satchel: Ok, fine. So? Bucky: So that's proof we're more popular than dogs. Satchel: No, it means there's more of you guys. Lots of people still hate you guys! By your logic, mosquitoes and bacteria are the most popular pets in the U.S.! Let's measure a different way. What would you get if all the dogs in America were laid end to end? Bucky: I shudder to think. Satchel: We'd be a longer line than cats. Bucky: Two dogs would be a longer line! Cats aren't dumb enough to be lined! Satchel: Indeed, nature has subtle ways of expressing perfection. Bucky: Pff. Nature also made flying fish and platypuses, so don't talk to me about nature.
