FRAZZ BY JEF MALLETT Child: First they don't open the pool, and then they don't open the high dive! Frazz: I think they both didn't open at the same time. Child: It still seems like piling on. Frazz: They actually made the high-dive decision well before the pandemic. Child: Why? Frazz: Safety. Child: Who got hurt? Frazz: That's not... Child: I'll tell you who didn't get hurt last year: me. Frazz; That is true. Several times a day you didn't get hurt. Child: Exactl... wait. What's your point? Frazz: Turns out it's quite safe to stand on the platform thinking about it before creeping back down the ladder. Child: Then what's the safety issue? Frazz: People were getting sunburned waiting on the ladder while somebody stood on the platform thinking. Child: Well, no fair. This was going to be the year I jumped.
