Jason: Marcus lent me his dad's oscilloscope. I can measure each string's frequency for you more precisely than you can do it by ear. Your E-string is sharp by 0.005 hertz. Now it's flat by 0.002 hertz. Easy, Hercules- now it's sharp by 0.0009 hertz. Now it's flat, Now it's sharp. Now it's flat. Peter, get your thumb off the knob- your pulse is affecting the tension! Shoot. Now all the strings are flat by 1/100,000th of a hertz. My added body temperature must be heating the room and causing the strings to expand. Peter: Flat by 1/100,000th of a hertz?! Who cares?! At this rate, I'm going to spend the whole day tunning and never play a single song! Go away! Jason: I tried Paige: Mom has some extra earplugs, I think.
