Zipper: I wonder if I'll ever get to visit Mars. And is that really worth wondering about? I wonder. Uncle Zonk, do you think humans will ever get to Mars? Zonker: I hope not. Zipper: Seriously? Why not? Zonker? Robots could do anything humans could do, probably better, and at a tiny fraction of the costs. NASA will have to spend billions trying to solve just one problem... how to keep a person alive for two years in deep space. If a single life support system failed during the voyage, it'd be catastrophic! Zipper: Unless... Zonker: Unless what? Zipper: Duct tape. Zonker: This isn't the '70s, nephew. People don't fix things.
