Mark: And coming up, a chat with my old bud Jimmy Thudpucker... who hopefully won't talk about The Green Party! So, Jimmy, what do you think of politicians using pop songs in their campaigns? Jimmy: I hate it. Especially when they ignore the actual meaning of the song, like Reagan did with "Born In The USA...' or Bernie did with "America," which was about a guy who's "empty and aching." It just drives me crazy! The Clintons use one of my old songs and it has nothing to do with them! Mark: Which song? Jimmy: "I Met A Girl In '71." Mark: Sounds on the nose to me. What's the problem?
